This page explains how to delete your Tikeza account and your data, how to disconnect the social accounts you connected, and what we have to keep by law. Tikeza is operated by Texa.

1. Delete your Tikeza account

Organisers: sign in at app.tikeza.com. Open the menu under your profile picture and choose Account Settings. On the General page, go to Danger zone and choose Delete account. Type your account name to confirm. You can also go straight to https://app.tikeza.com/settings/account.

Only the account owner can delete an account. If an upcoming event has completed orders, you need to cancel and refund it first; the app shows which events.

Your account is deactivated and your events are unpublished straight away. Deletion becomes permanent after 30 days. Until then, you can cancel it from the same place.

2. Creators

To stop promoting events, open your creator workspace, go to Profile and choose Close creator profile. Request a payout of your balance and finish any payouts, scheduled posts and disputes first. Closing is permanent and your creator code stops working.

Creators without an organiser account: open the menu under your profile picture in the creator workspace and choose Account settings (or go to https://app.tikeza.com/settings/account), choose Delete account and type your email address to confirm. Your creator profile closes straight away and stays closed if you cancel. Deletion becomes permanent after 30 days, and the same balance, payout, scheduled post and dispute conditions apply.

If you are both an organiser and a creator, deleting the organiser account does not delete your creator profile or your sign-in. Leave or delete every organiser account you belong to first, then delete your account from the creator workspace.

3. Disconnect a social account in Tikeza

Creators: open your creator workspace, go to Social accounts and choose Disconnect next to the account.

Organisers: open your organiser workspace, go to Social accounts and choose Disconnect next to the account.

Tikeza deletes its access tokens and, where the network supports it, asks the network to revoke them. For Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Pinterest, also remove Tikeza in the network’s own settings (see below). Scheduled posts on that account will not be published. Posts already published stay on the network until you delete them there. Rewards already recorded, and the figures they are based on, are kept as earnings records.

4. Remove Tikeza from a network’s settings

You can remove Tikeza’s access from the network itself at any time, even if you can no longer sign in to Tikeza. Menu names change from time to time, so look for the section on apps, websites or connected services.

Facebook: go to Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites and, if you connected a Page, Business integrations. Select Tikeza and choose Remove.

Instagram: go to Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. Select Tikeza and choose Remove. If you connected Instagram through Facebook, remove Tikeza from Facebook’s Business integrations as well.

Threads: go to Settings, then Account, then Website permissions, select Tikeza and remove it.

TikTok: go to Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then Apps and services permissions. Select Tikeza and choose Remove access.

Google and YouTube: open your Google account’s third-party connections page, select Tikeza and delete its connections.

X: go to Settings and privacy, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, then Connected apps. Select Tikeza and revoke its permissions.

LinkedIn: go to Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services. Find Tikeza and remove it.

Pinterest: go to Settings, open the section that lists apps you have connected, find Tikeza and revoke its access.

Telegram: open your channel’s information, go to Administrators, select the Tikeza bot and dismiss it.

5. Buyers and WhatsApp

If you bought tickets or registered for an event, your data is held for the organiser of that event. Ask the organiser, or write to us and we will pass your request on.

If you talked to an event on WhatsApp through Tikeza, reply STOP to stop receiving messages. To have your conversation deleted, write to us from the email address below and include the WhatsApp number you used.

6. Ask us by email

Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account and tell us what you want deleted. If you cannot sign in, tell us the email address or WhatsApp number you used. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, and we will reply within the time required by applicable law.

7. What we delete

Your profile and sign-in details, team memberships, creator profile details, payout accounts, social account tokens and the account insights and comment samples we collected from your connected accounts are deleted or anonymised.

If your account has no completed orders, all of its data is permanently deleted. If it has completed orders, personal information is removed and the records we must keep are kept in anonymised form where possible.

8. What we keep

We keep financial records, such as orders, invoices, payments, refunds, payouts, commissions, campaign funding and the post figures that earnings are based on, for as long as required by applicable law, and for as long as needed to handle disputes, fraud and legal claims.

Posts already published on a network stay there until you delete them on that network. Data an organiser has exported or holds outside Tikeza is the organiser’s responsibility.
