Each organiser sets the refund policy for their event and shows it on the event page. This policy applies where the organiser has not published one.

1. Who decides

The organiser decides whether to refund a ticket, because the organiser runs the event and receives the money. To ask for a refund, reply to your order email or contact the organiser from the event page.

2. Cancelled events

If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, buyers are entitled to a refund of the ticket price.

3. Rescheduled or changed events

If the date, venue or main act changes significantly, buyers who cannot attend may ask for a refund within 14 days of being told about the change.

4. Other cases

In other cases, tickets are not refundable unless the organiser agrees or the law says otherwise.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Banks and mobile money providers can take several working days to show the money. Cash paid at the door is refunded by the organiser.

The Tikeza fee is refunded when an event is cancelled. Payment processing fees charged by the payment provider may not be returned.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact the organiser before disputing a payment with your bank. Disputed orders may be cancelled and their tickets stop scanning.
